Creating & Verifying Zones

Set up your domain by creating a zone on Cycle.

A DNS Zone refers to the root portion of your domain (example.com). By creating a zone on Cycle, you are able to manage the records for that domain. Before it can be used, Cycle will need to verify that it is pointed to it's name servers,

To get to the zone creation form, follow these steps:

  1. Click DNS in the nav menu on the left hand side.
  2. Click Create Zone in the top right corner.

Create the Zone

In the "Origin" field, enter your root domain in the format example.com, then click "Create Zone".

  2. Select the zone you want to verify from the list.
  3. Click the settings tab
  4. Check the hosted box and click Update Zone
